This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native solutions, leveraging AWS services to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure, guiding technical direction while collaborating closely with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams. The position balances hands-on development with architectural leadership, providing the chance to influence strategic technology decisions, implement best practices, and mentor engineering teams in a dynamic, outcome-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

· Lead end-to-end solution architecture for AWS-hosted applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

· Translate business requirements into technical designs, solution roadmaps, and implementation plans.

· Design and oversee development of modern frontends (Angular) and robust backends (Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy).

· Architect APIs, microservices, serverless, and container-based solutions (ECS/EKS).

· Implement data storage, integration, and cloud-native strategies using AWS services (S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Glue, etc.).

· Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployments.

· Mentor development teams on architecture, coding standards, and cloud adoption.

· Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and act as a subject matter expert for AWS services, security, and compliance.

· Provide guidance on cloud adoption, migration planning, and enterprise workload onboarding.

Requirements

· 8+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture, with at least 4+ years focused on AWS.

· Deep proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform, and IAM.

· Strong hands-on experience with Angular (frontend) and Python/FastAPI (backend).

· Proven ability to architect end-to-end cloud-native solutions with security, performance, and scalability in mind.

· Solid understanding of microservices, REST, and event-driven architectures.

· Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code practices.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Preferred: Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, government), AWS Solutions Architect certification, and knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI, NIST, FedRAMP).
