Sawtooth Concepts is looking to hire a Cabinet Maker . If hired, you would be responsible to assemble, finish, and install custom cabinetry and will be working for Sawtooth Concepts producing cabinetry and millwork for residential and commercial projects.

This is a full-time position 7:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) with some opportunity for overtime. We provide excellent benefits such as Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, and Medical/Vision/Dental benefits as well as competitive wages.

What You Will Do:

• Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files
• Assemble cabinet parts with glue, nails, or other fasteners and fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form units
• Sand and scrape surfaces and joints to prepare components for finishing
• Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls
• Restock parts and hardware, unload, sort, and put away materials in the shop
• Clean and maintain shop work areas, including machinery and tools, to ensure a safe working environment
• Travel to installation sites and perform Installation of cabinetry
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 3 years of related work experience
• Finished wood product experience a plus
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification a plus
• Strong working knowledge of tools & equipment common in a cabinet shop, such as: power/hand tools, sanders, pneumatic fasteners, routers, saws, joiners, edge bander, etc.)
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders, or mechanically elevated devices
• Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs. safely throughout the facility repeatedly
• Ability to frequently stand, bend, squat, walk, reach above shoulder level, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally, sit, and crawl
