Civil CAD Designer

An excellent engineering firm located in the local area is actively seeking to hire a Civil CAD Designer, skilled in creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role will work closely with engineering team members to develop accurate and functional designs for various assigned projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details for civil engineering projects
• Utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce designs, including grading plans, site layouts, drainage systems, and utility systems
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure designs are accurate, feasible, and meet project requirements
• Effectively communicating design information to project teams, clients, and stakeholders

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate, Associates Degree, or equivalent completion of a technical degree or certificate in CAD design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other relevant CAD software
• Ideally a few years (1-5+) of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience drafting/designing civil engineering projects
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with project teams and stakeholders
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality of designs
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with various professionals
