· Candidate Management:
o Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
o Provide feedback to candidates and manage expectations throughout the selection process.
· Offer Negotiation & Onboarding:
o Extend job offers and handle the negotiation of salaries, benefits, and other employment terms.
o Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and compliance documents are completed.
· Database & Reporting:
o Maintain an up-to-date database of applicants, tracking candidate progress and providing reports on recruitment activities.
o Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, etc.) and suggest improvements to optimize processes.
· Compliance & Industry Knowledge:
o Stay up to date with construction industry trends, labor laws, and regulations related to hiring and employment.
o Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience:
o Minimum of [2-5 years] experience as a recruiter, with a focus on construction or trade industries.
o Proven experience in recruiting for a variety of construction roles, including but not limited to laborers, carpenters, electricians, project managers, and foremen.
· Skills:
o Strong understanding of the construction industry and the various skill sets required for construction roles.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both candidates and hiring managers.
o Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
· Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
o Additional certifications or training in recruitment or construction management are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work in both office and field environments, including occasional site visits to assess candidate suitability for specific roles.
· Must be able to travel to construction sites and attend recruitment events as needed.
