Licensed Counselor - Jewish Services:
This role provides direct services to clients in the Jewish Counseling Program, conducting comprehensive behavioral health intakes and diagnostic assessments, conducts treatment planning, and provides a range of qualified & recognized behavioral health treatment services as necessary to meet client’s needs.
Responsibilities include: - Coordinate services with other involved agency treatment staff.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff and students as assigned.
- Represent the Jewish Counseling Program in the greater Phoenix Jewish Community.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide a range of behavioral health treatment services to an outpatient population.
- Demonstrated ability to assess crisis and emergent situations.
- Demonstrated capacity to represent the agency at community meetings and events.
- Demonstrated capacity to meet clinical recordkeeping standards.
- General familiarity with Jewish holidays, customs and life cycle events.
- Prepares required reports, inclusive of incident reports, DCS referrals, QI/QM activities, performance audits, and compilation of meeting minutes.
- Completion of clinical screens to evaluate risk levels and medical conditions.
- Ensures all services are clinically necessary and are documented as such within outlined timeframes.
Requirements:
- Independent or Associate Licensed by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
- Certified by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to provide Clinical Supervision.
- Jewish by birth or choice.
- Familiarity with Jewish holidays and Jewish life cycle events.
- Some familiarity with Yiddish and/or Hebrew languages is a plus.
