Our providers are nationally recognized for excellent patient satisfaction, quality health care, and improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** The Staff LPN Ambulatory is responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of a physician or other licensed provider in an ambulatory care setting. Assigned tasks may include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering medications in-office, performing point of care lab testing, assisting with procedures and triaging patient phone calls. All responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with applicable state regulations. **Responsibilities** + Provides general nursing services to patients under the supervision of a physician or other licensed provider within the scope of practice for the LPN. + Follows HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, Medication Management and Infection Prevention procedures for cleaning and sterilization of equipment and/or instruments. + Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point of care testing and medication administration. Assists with medical office procedures. + Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate and prompt charting in the patient's record. + Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present relevant information to provider with correct medical terminology. + BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position.
