WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Records and distributes UPS, Federal Express and International mail deliveries. Use of basic computer skills.
Prepares outgoing shipments via USPS, UPS, Federal Express, and International.
Computes and applies the correct amount of postage required for outgoing letters and packages according to weight and classification.
Folds letters or circulars and inserts them into envelopes by hand or machine.
Examines outgoing mail for appearance and seals envelopes by hand or machine.
Collects mail daily, sorts and distributes interoffice mail according to department and building.
Assists in media duplication including burning CDs and DVDs.
Uses software to scan packing slips showing date and method shipped and records postage used by other departments.
Ensures outgoing mail is weighed, classified, and delivered to the post office in a timely manner.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma/GED Required
