As a **MineStar Onboard Specialist** , you'll be based at the **Bagdad Copper Mine in Arizona** , working side-by-side with our customer to maintain a fleet of Caterpillar autonomous haul trucks. Travel, relax, recharge-your time is truly yours. + **On-Site Impact** : Be the go-to expert on-site, ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently. + **Innovation in Action** : Collaborate with Caterpillar's engineering teams to identify and implement product improvements. + **Hands-On Problem Solving** : Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize cutting-edge autonomous systems. **What You'll Do** + Manage machine and system integration for Command for Hauling. + Troubleshoot field issues and track resolution progress. + Build and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI. + Analyze system data to ensure accuracy and performance. + Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system capabilities. + Report on hardware/software performance and critical system failures. + Mentor junior team members and train site staff. + Present findings to customer maintenance and operations teams. **What You'll Bring:** **Technical Expertise** in **mining technology** , mechanical/electrical systems, and machine control systems. **Field Support Experience** in post-sales **hardware maintenance and troubleshooting** , with a strong focus on product support. Skilled in working with dealers to resolve technical issues and ensure effective maintenance. **Problem-Solving Mindset** to identify root causes and drive solutions. **Communication & Collaboration Skills** to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers. **Analytical Skills:** Proven experience in **building and maintaining dashboards** using tools like **Power BI** to enhance visibility and support data-driven decision-making. **Top Candidates will also have:** Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering. Experience with MineStar systems and autonomous mining technology. Hands-on experience in a mine-site or camp environment. Self-starter with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. **Additional Information:** The mine is located in Baghdad, Arizona. Minestar Onboard Specialists work a 7x7-off day shift roster. At the start of each shift rotation, the successful candidate will drive to the site and stay in customer-provided accommodations for the duration of their shift. Upon completion of the rotation, they will return to their home location for their scheduled days off. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Sponsorship is not available for this position. **Summary Pay Range:** $110,520.00 - $165,840.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
