Non CDL box truck driver Location Grove City, OH :

• Local transportation company is looking to expand its existing business with Amazon Relay Services by adding non CDL driver position delivering to postal offices throughout regionaly. We're looking for someone that is interested in growing with our local family-owned company. This is a consistent and flexible service for which we are looking to add a reliable additional driver. DAY SHIFT DRIVER & NIGHT SHIFT DRIVER***WEEKEND'S AVAILABLE.***
• We are looking for responsible safe drivers to operate our 24-26ft box trucks in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and pre trip inspections of each truck before use. Planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.
• We have A+ rating which offers early access to the Amazon load board creating priority booking rates and trip selection. Benefits of the position include regional travel only which allows Driver to be home every night . Consistent and reliable trips while still maintaining flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Driver's License (Required)
• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Current DOT Medical card
• Clean MVR- 4pts or less
• 6 months verifiable experience driving a straight truck
• Must pass a road test
• Own and be able to use a Smartphone and delivery applications
• Maintain paperwork to record deliveries and company provided DOT logbook as needed
• Driver assists as needed
• Must be able to lift push or pull up to 75lb

Skills

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver's license
• A clean driving records
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $775.00 - $1,085.00 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
