Job Description

We are a growing provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services supporting 600+ long-term care facilities across multiple states. Currently, seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with interest or experience in geriatric psychiatry .

Location: Bloomington, IL

Position: Part-time or full-time, with daytime hours, no weekends or on-call, offering flexible scheduling and autonomy.

Qualifications

• NP or PA degree from an accredited university
• Valid, full license and DEA# in the state
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and staff
• Knowledge of mental health care delivery and interdisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients in various settings
• Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications (no therapy involved)
• Manage 12-15 patients daily, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with Medicare standards

Preferred: 1+ year experience with geriatric mental health and Medicare documentation.
