Molecular virology lab in the UF College of Medicine that studies virus infections in cell culture and in vivo models is seeking an OPS technician to help support and conduct research in the lab.

Duties for this position include helping with several ongoing projects in the lab. This position will involve assisting other lab personnel performing experiments. The individual will help with general lab maintenance including management of inventory, research equipment and reagents.

Expected Salary:
$14 - $18 Hourly. Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma

Preferred:
Experience working in a laboratory and using molecular techniques such DNA and RNA analyses (Q-PCR) and cloning. The ideal candidate would have experience working with viruses and working with cell culture and rodent models.
