Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
At least 6 months of performing related duties as a pharmacy technician
Licensed pharmacy technician license in good standing with California Board of Pharmacy
Minimum Education:
High School or equivalent or Post High School vocational/specialized training or Graduation from a foreign school of Pharmacy
The technician may spend 5-6 hours a day performing compounding duties in a sterile environment, which requires specific garbing and cleanroom etiquette. The technician should be advised that he or she will be working with hazardous medications under the protection of Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. gowns, masks, gloves, etc.) per institution protocol.
