Description We are looking for a highly skilled QA Analyst to join our team in Southern California. In this role, you will ensure the quality and functionality of enterprise digital platforms by creating and executing both manual and automated tests. This position requires close collaboration with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless digital experiences. This is a long-term contract opportunity for professionals passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement. This role will be working on a great team 4 days per week in sunny Southern California. Responsibilities: - Evaluate and verify the functionality of core digital platforms and their integrations. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on business requirements and system documentation. - Utilize tools such as Jira and Zephyr to manage defects and generate detailed reports for stakeholders. - Perform testing on mobile applications, websites, and backend systems using tools like Appium, Selenium, SoapUI, and PostMan. - Define automation strategies and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review user stories, requirements, and risk assessments. - Prepare test data and ensure the readiness of the testing environment. - Publish testing results and metrics to support informed business decisions. - Lead and mentor team members in the development and execution of testing procedures. - Promote the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in testing methodologies. Requirements - Proven experience in testing complex digital, web, or cloud platforms involving integrations with vendors and internal teams. - Strong knowledge of creating test artifacts, including strategies, plans, cases, and scripts. - Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr for defect management and reporting. - Expertise in mobile frontend, websites, and backend testing using tools like Appium, Selenium, and BrowserStack. - Proficiency in automation testing and strategy development using industry-standard tools. - Familiarity with SQL and cloud technologies for data validation and integration testing. - Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing processes with business goals. - Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
