Our client, a growing manufacturing company based in Valencia, is looking for a hands-on Senior Cost Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, enjoys diving into cost analysis, and is equally comfortable overseeing AP/AR staff while rolling up their sleeves on daily accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
Lead cost accounting activities, including inventory management, cost of goods sold (COGS), and variance analysis
Oversee month-end close processes and prepare account reconciliations
Partner with operations to analyze cost drivers and ensure accurate reporting
Supervise AP/AR team members while providing support and guidance
Support ERP system processes (SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and maintain strong Excel models
Qualifications:
5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with solid cost accounting background
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, and cost accounting principles
ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite, or similar) plus advanced Excel skills
