We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and systems. You'll work with various tools and equipment to create precision metalwork for industrial and commercial applications.

What You'll Do:
🔧 Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components and ductwork
📐 Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
⚙️ Operate cutting, forming, and welding equipment safely
🔍 Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
🛠️ Repair and maintain existing sheet metal installations
📊 Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work environment
What We're Looking For:
Three years of experience as a first class Sheet Metal Worker
Installation foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, shipboard furniture, sheet metal fabrication shop work.
Marine experience preferred. Aircraft/Industrial/Commercial sheet
metal experience is acceptable. Required Skills:
1. Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, sketches to
include weld symbols, material types, datum and reference lines.
2. Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions as with the use of a ruler.
3. Ability to layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly.
4. Ability to assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications
5. Experience working in a physically demanding environment.
6. Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry.
7. Experience using small hand tools (electric drills, grinders, rivet guns), drill press, press break, Shears
