Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Representative to join our team in Morristown. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your technical expertise to support customers, sales teams, and manufacturing partners, ensuring optimal use of our products in the plastics manufacturing and polymer processing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced technical support and guidance on product capabilities and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to plastics processing and compounding at customer sites.
• Handle customer complaints efficiently, performing root-cause analysis and providing actionable insights to the product development team.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and seminars through engaging presentations and discussions.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of customer interactions and project progress.
• Share expertise in color concentrates, polymers, and compounding technologies with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in polymer processing, plastics manufacturing, or technical services, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing or leadership role.
• Proficient in color concentrates, plastics compounding, extrusion, injection molding, and processing technologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey complex technical details to diverse audiences.
• Experience with CRM systems and a proven record of thought leadership through publications or technical presentations is a plus.
